Our Managing Director, Colm CoyleColm is our Managing Director. Colm joined Rio IT in 2006 after retiring from the hustle and bustle of consulting in the city as he wanted a different challenge running his own business. Colm's main responsibility is providing technical direction and leadership to the management team. Colm is also responsible for maintaining and developing our customers, both new and existing, through consultation and advice.

Our Operations Manager, Jenna StevensJenna joined Rio IT in 2002 and manages our Engineering and Business Support teams. Jenna ensures that Rio IT has the best blend of engineering related products and services to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients. She creates, manages and monitors appropriate delivery and monitoring systems to ensure quality and consistency in all of our engineering services and the smooth day to day running of the business.

Our Business Support Administrator, Cinzia MarigoldCinzia is the chatty, happy voice of Rio IT and is responsible for operating and monitoring the in-house company procedures that support the day to day running of the business. Cinzia co-ordinates our Engineering service desk and Helpdesk to ensure that service levels are met and customer expectations are exceeded. Cinzia is also responsible for daily book-keeping activities including managing customer account queries.

One of our Engineers, Tim WhitemanTim joined our team when he moved on from his previous position. He is a highly skilled engineer who excels in customer service and problem resolution, delivering fast responses to help desk calls. Tim is also the primary engineer responsible for monthly maintenance visits to our customers to ensure that service levels are upheld and to undertake preventative maintenance on our customers' systems.

Alex Webster, Systems EngineerAlex worked with Rio IT for 6 years before leaving us to further his career working in the City; although he still occasionally comes back to help out when we need holiday cover. Alex is very experienced with our systems and our customers so he never fails to provide excellent support when he comes back. Alex is a talented Helpdesk engineer and his technical knowledge and commitment to customer service are useful tools for supporting our customers.

Glen Todd, Systems EngineerGlen is one of our Systems Engineers, and joined our team in October 2012. Glen has a long history of working in IT support, and prior to joining Rio IT he provided professional consultancy and training services for companies such as the Mid Essex Primary Care Trust. Glen has excellent customer services skills and is thorough and efficient when resolving problems for our customers.

Our Software Development Manager, Darren KnowlesDarren is our Software Development Manager and joined our team in August 2007. Darren is primarily responsible for collaborating with our clients to create Functional Specifications for development projects. Darren helps our customers to work out exactly what they want to achieve with their bespoke software, after which he manages the project in order to ensure that this goal is achieved in the best possible way to deliver the software on time and on budget.

One of our Developers, Dave HudgellDave is our tame Software Developer and joined our team in January 2011. Dave survives on endless cups of tea and brings to Rio IT an instinctive understanding of programming languages and a creative approach to problem resolution. Dave's main responsibility is writing the actual code of the bespoke software solutions that we develop for our customers. Dave is given a specification by Darren and then writes the most efficient piece of code to achieve that goal with best effect.

Our Marketing Manager, Natasha PratleyNatasha joined our team at the beginning of March 2012, after graduating in 2011 with a degree in Marketing. Natasha is responsible for taking on the challenge of updating our marketing processes and communicating with our customers the various ways in which we can support their business. Rio IT's ethos is heavily focused on providing excellent customer service and we can only do that if we are certain that we are giving our customers all the information that they require to improve their businesses.
